NFL Predictions for Every Game This Week
If you want NFL predictions today rather than a season preview, start here. Every game on the current slate gets a card carrying our call, a projected score, the key number the spread is sitting on, and which of the seven Massachusetts books is pricing it best at the time of writing. Totals get the same treatment, and totals betting explains how we read a number that moves on weather as much as on personnel.
The projected score isn’t a guess at the final. It’s the model’s expected margin and total, written the way people read football. Set it against the market number on the same card and the gap between the two is the whole argument for the pick. Where that gap comes in under a point we say so and leave the game alone, because a pick nobody can price is not a pick worth publishing.
The Patriots card leads the module whenever New England plays. Someone checking NFL score predictions on a Thursday morning in Boston wants the home team first, and Gillette Stadium gives the week an anchor no national pick grid has. 2026 opens with New England away in the Wednesday night kickoff game at Seattle, so the Patriots take the first card of the season. Everything Patriots sits in that slot for now, the weekly call, the market read and the injury picture.
Cards go up once the week’s lines are posted and get refreshed after the Sunday early window closes, every week of the 2026 season. Thursday and Monday games get their own refresh, so a call written on Tuesday isn’t still sitting there untouched after two days of line movement. If a number moves far enough to change the call before kickoff, we change the call and say so on the card rather than quietly editing it.

How We Make Our NFL Predictions
Efficiency on both sides of the ball, adjusted for opponent. Not yards and points, which flatter teams that play fast, but what a side does with each snap. A team can sit top ten in total offense and below average per play.
Situational splits covering home and away, short weeks, travel, rest advantage and the kickoff forecast, which swings a total further in Foxborough in December than anywhere else.
The official NFL injury report, weighted by snap share rather than by name recognition. A starting guard missing usually moves a number further than a third receiver does.
Combine results give us a speed and athleticism baseline for every roster, and not only the forty. The wider battery, the vertical, the shuttle and the three cone, describes change of direction and short area burst, which separates a slot receiver from a sprinter. Times mean little on their own, so we read them against position testing norms and use SPARQ athleticism ratings to compare players across positions. When a secondary grades slower than the receivers it’s facing, that turns up in our total before a box score. That last part matters. Testing numbers describe a player at one moment, usually before he played a professional snap, and say nothing about instinct or hands. We use them as context, never as a substitute for watching football. We publish the inputs, which is the difference between our NFL computer picks and a black box.
We publish the record too. Every pick is tracked against the closing spread rather than the number we happened to take, and the running tally sits at the top of the module through 2026.
NFL Picks Against the Spread
Most of our weekly calls are against the spread, because that’s where the reasoning can be tested. A moneyline pick only asks who wins. A spread pick asks by how much, which is the harder question.
Every ATS call in the module carries its reasoning in a line: the efficiency gap, the situational factor, or the speed mismatch that moved the number on our sheet. If we can’t say why in one sentence, we don’t publish the pick, and some weeks that means a game goes by without a call from us at all.
Key numbers settle more of these than anything else. NFL games land on a margin of three more often than any other result, with seven next. Moving a spread across those numbers costs far more than moving it anywhere else, and half a point either side can turn a good pick into an unplayable one. NFL Picks Straight Up
For office pools and survivor entries the spread is irrelevant. These are the same model calls with the margin stripped out, useful for pools and close to worthless as a betting market, because a heavy favorite pays too little to back.
NFL Best Bets and Prop Picks
Two or three plays a week clear our conviction bar, and those are the only ones we’d call best bets. Everything else in the module is a lean, and we label it plainly as one.
A play makes this list when the model and the market disagree by more than the number can absorb, and when we can name the reason out loud. A tackle missing against a defense that rushes from that same side. A dome team traveling to Foxborough in December. A secondary that grades slow against a receiving corps that grades fast, which is where the testing archive earns its keep.
Our best NFL bets are published with the working shown. Each carries our projected number, the market number and the gap between them. If that gap closes before kickoff, the play comes off the list and the card says so. Some weeks only one play clears the bar, and on those weeks we publish one rather than inventing a second to fill the slot.
Best NFL Prop Bets Today in Massachusetts
Player props on NFL games are unrestricted in Massachusetts. The state bans college player props outright, but that ban reaches college athletes only, so every NFL player market is open to you.
Props are where the roster speed and athleticism inputs do the most work, because a receiving yards line is a matchup question before it’s a volume question. They also carry the thinnest pricing on the board, so we only publish one when the gap is wide enough to survive the margin.
NFL Playoff and Super Bowl Predictions 2026
Our NFL playoff predictions run all season and get rebuilt at the start of each month, because a bracket projected in September and left untouched until January is decoration rather than analysis.
The projection covers all eight division winners, both wild card fields and a round by round bracket. It moves on results, but it moves further on the underlying numbers, so a team winning close games it had no business winning will slide in our projection while it climbs the standings. The wild card race is where that gap shows up most, because the teams fighting for those places are usually separated by a point a game rather than by anything structural.
The Patriots call is the one Massachusetts readers actually come for, so we make it plainly and date it. New England opens on the road against the defending champions in the Wednesday night kickoff game, the hardest start the schedule could have handed them, and a season projection made before that game is worth less than one made after it.
Our NFL Super Bowl Predictions for 2026
Seattle is our pick to win Super Bowl LXI, on the strength of a defense that returns intact and a schedule that opens at home. The game is played on 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, the latest date the NFL has ever scheduled a Super Bowl.
Two things would move us off it before the trade deadline. A Seattle injury in the front seven, where the roster has no comparable depth, or a division rival closing the efficiency gap by midseason.

Betting on NFL Predictions From Massachusetts
Betting here runs under the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, and online wagering has been live since 10 March 2023. Seven operators hold online licenses, and that number is the most useful thing about betting NFL picks from this state.
